Jodie Kidd

Jodie Kidd is a former English fashion model and a television personality. She was born on 25 September 1978 in Guildford, Surrey.

Jodie was first introduced to modelling when she was discovered whilst on a beach in Barbados aged 15 by photographer Terry O'Neil who introduced her to model agent Laraine Ashton. Jodie has modelled for magazine covers including Elle in America, Portugal, Italy, Singapore and Sweden, British Vogue, The Face and Tatler. She has appeared in Advertisements for Chanel, Chloé Innocence perfume, Ghost, Motorola and Yves Saint Laurent. She has also worked for Jasper Conran, Julien McDonald, Matthew Williamson, Valentino, Alexander McQueen, Givenchy, Gucci, Bella Freud, Betsey Johnson, Carolina Herrera, Karl Lagerfeld, John Galliano, Moschino, Chanel and Comme des Garcons.

In 1997, Jodie played the Lady of the lake in Prince Valiant and she also appeared in the British film Mad Cows, in 1999. From 2004 to 2005, Kidd was the face of the high-street chain Monsoon.

Jodie’s dance partner on Strictly Come Dancing will be Ian Waite.
